**About the Unit:**
The PCU unit is a unit where our vent/trach patients go when not in the ICU. You would see patients ranging from Cardiac, Neuro, Trauma, Med/Surg as well as others that are ready to be out of the ICU or getting ready to go to ICU. This unit will take cardene drips for hypertensive urgency, insulin drips, and high acuity patients that require frequent rounding. This unit is great for nurses who want to eventually go to the ICUs.
