**SUMMARY OF POSITION:**
The RN clinical coordinator is responsible for achieving quality, cost-effective and patient-focused outcomes by serving as an advocate and educator for this patient population in accordance with hospital standards/guidelines, applicable statutory requirements and accepted clinical practice. The RN clinical coordinator works closely with oncology practitioners, nurses, social workers, navigators, external labs and providers to provide consistent care coordination within the practice standards.
