**Description**
**Position Summary**
The Pediatric Gastroenterology Nurse Coordinator is responsible for coordinating care for pediatric patients with complex gastrointestinal disorders, including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), feeding disorders, liver disease, disorders of gut-brain interaction, and other conditions. The nurse coordinator provides comprehensive clinical coordination, patient education, and support for complex and chronic conditions, and serves as a key liaison among patients, families, and the multidisciplinary care team.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Coordinate care for pediatric GI patients
+ Triage calls/messages with patients/families regarding symptoms and management, and draft a response
+ Manage patient tracking systems (e.g., follow-up lists, infusion schedules, high-risk patient registries) to ensure timely care
