Description: Shift is from 19:00 to 07:30, three times a week. Floating to other similar units may be required if needed. Weekend coverage expected every other weekend, subject to change based on need. Patient diagnoses include higher oxygen demands, dialysis patients, atrial fibrillation, and post heart catheterization. The unit serves as a step-down from intensive care and does not support ventilation or pressor requirements.
