Labor & Delivery RN - Night Shift

Location: Frederick, MD

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description: This position is for a Labor & Delivery RN in a high-quality facility that provides obstetric care for patients who are 20+ weeks pregnant and up to 6 weeks postpartum. The unit includes 14 labor and delivery rooms, an OB Triage unit, OB ORs, and an OB PACU, with a focus on family-centered care and modern equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients and postpartum patients.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using state-of-the-art equipment.
• Assist in OB triage, labor assessments, and emergency interventions as necessary.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care and patient outcomes.
