In-House Security

In-house security is available 24/7. Patients per day range from 20-40 visits daily. Ratios are 1:4, with hallway patients sometimes being 5-6 to one. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, with a preference for PALS and CPI.

Common Diagnoses/Types of Patients

Common diagnoses include respiratory patients, overdoses (heroin), geri-psych, and typical ED population. The facility does not have an interventional cath lab in house.

Experience or 'Must Have' Skills

One year of ED experience is required.

ED Physicians/Mid-Levels

There is 1 ED Physician.

Charge Nurse/House Supervisor

The charge nurse ideally does not take patients. The house supervisor is available 24/7.

Nurse Aids/Paramedics/Patient Sitters

ED Techs and Paramedics are used in triage.
