Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, directing, implementing, and evaluating all aspects of nursing care on assigned unit for residents and patients. Adheres to Nursing Standards and Policies, Facility Policies and Procedures and the Nurse Practice Act. Responsible for nursing care based on the nursing process and in compliance with facility policies and procedures. Monitor, report, and document the residents/patient's behavior and physiological status. Administer medications and perform treatments/procedures in compliance with facility and nursing services, policies, and procedures. Guide the response to residents who are behaviorally out of control or who may be experiencing a medical or behavioral crisis in collaboration with the Director of Nursing, Medical Staff with delineated privileges and Physician.
