The UNC REX Surgical Services Procedure Unit is a 16 bay unit that provides preoperative and postoperative nursing care to ambulatory post-anesthesia patients. Cases include ophthalmology, urology, gynecology, and general surgery. In this fast-paced environment, nurses work closely with a highly experienced multidisciplinary team.

Summary:
Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.
