**Description**

RN needed for Acute Burn and Wound Care Unit at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC. This is a 36 hours/week position, for Night Shift, with flexible self-scheduling. This position qualifies for an extensive benefit package.

5 East is a 15 - bed Acute Burn and Wound Unit and we function as an extension of the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center. We care for adult patients who have a burn injury and/or other type of complex wounds. The burn injuries on our unit are acute and generally less than 20% of total body surface area. We provide burn and wound care to these patients from the acute through rehabilitative phase. We also care for overflow patients from other units on the acute care surgical units and occasionally overflow form the acute care medicine units with patients including but not limited to: plastic surgery patients, diabetic wounds, and pressure ulcers.
