JOB SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to provide nursing campus leadership and skilled nursing care to residents under the medical direction of the residents’ attending physician and within the scope of nursing practice for the state.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Make rounds throughout the campus ensuring that all nursing staff are performing tasks as scheduled.

• Make sure all staffing levels are appropriate throughout the facility and make staffing assignment changes as needed.

• Address any emergent situations on the campus of GWVH.

• Provide oversight of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and licensed nurses.
