Summary The Milwaukee VA Medical Center is looking for a Registered Nurse - Assistant Nurse Manager for the Surgical Care unit. Responsibilities Assistant Nurse Manager supports the NM with the operation of their designated unit(s). Provides coverage for other ANMs as needed. Responsible and accountable for the direction and oversight of specific orientation, training, development of staff, and evaluation of individual staff performance. Functions as a role model, educator, practitioner, and leader. Influences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team to remove barriers and implement new evidence-based cutting-edge programs/processes.
