Summary This position is located at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (http://www.milwaukee.va.gov/) in the Acute Care Inpatient Division (6CS). The Acute Care Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) supports the Nurse Manager (NM) with the operations of their designated unit(s). The Acute Care Assistant Nurse Manager will function as a clinical expert and is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient care. Responsibilities The Supervisory ANM is typically responsible for assisting the NM but is not responsible for independently carrying out the expectations of a NM on a routine basis.
