About the Unit


Our Med Surg Unit is a 25-bed department providing comprehensive care to patients from Mason County and surrounding West Michigan communities. This unit cares for a wide range of medical conditions, including:
+ Pneumonia and respiratory illnesses
+ Cellulitis and infectious processes
+ Kidney failure and acute/chronic kidney injury
+ Diabetes-related conditions and hyperglycemia
+ Ulcers and wound care needs
+ Geriatric and confused elderly patients
+ Alcohol-related health concerns
+ Sepsis
+ Select psychiatric patients
