Job Description

The selected candidate will participate in on‑call coverage for rheumatology consultations on inpatient wards and the Emergency Department. Due to a strong internal medicine and hospitalist group, there are no expectations to assume most responsible physician on any patient. Remuneration is fee‑for‑service as set by the OHIP Schedule of Benefits and Fees.

Osler is also affiliated with McMaster University Michael DeGroote School of Medicine Family Medicine Program as an academic community teaching site. Moreover, there is the turnkey opportunity to join the Rheumatology Associates Brampton outpatient practice.

Accountabilities:

• Weekday and weekend/holiday on‑call for adults in the Emergency Department and inpatient units
• Inpatient consultative care as per the rheumatology call schedule at Brampton Civic Hospital and Etobicoke General Hospital to admitted adults on non‑medical and medical services
