Responsible Pharmacist – Candidate Profile Summary

We are seeking a manufacturing-focused Responsible Pharmacist to join our Howick facility. This role focuses on compliance, quality control, and building a manufacturing operation aligned with SAHPRA requirements and future FDA/export standards.

Core Requirements

• SAPC registered Responsible Pharmacist
• Strong experience in manufacturing (this must be a core strength)
• Knowledge of GMP, QA/QC systems, SOPs, batch records, audits, and documentation
• Experience with SAHPRA certification or regulatory processes
• Understanding of FDA or export-aligned standards
• Ability to implement and manage compliant manufacturing systems

Preferred Experience

• Herbal medicine, natural products, or supplements
• Facility setup, improvement, or commissioning
