THE ROLE / TE MAHI

• We are seeking an engaging, innovative teacher who has strong communication skills and is a collaborative team player.
• Work in mainstream schools and other specialist schools to support DHH students, whānau and school staff/teams. This is a permanent, full‑time role. The caseload covers Bethells Beach – Onehunga and Titirangi – Taupaki.
• Engage within your assigned caseload with related record keeping and liaise with families and whanau to assist with student participation and success in their education and life outcomes.
• Provide proven best practice and experience working with Deaf children and/or mainstream children.
• Qualify as a Teacher of the Deaf or hold an NZ registered teacher qualification.
• Use own car with mileage reimbursed (conditions apply).
