Insight Global is looking for multiple Residential Counselors for one of our social services clients for multiple shelter centers in south jersey. These positions provide essential support and supervision to children and adolescents in a social services setting, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. They conduct life skills education and goal-setting groups, organize recreational and physical education activities, and coordinate appointments with medical consultants and other necessary appointments. Additionally, they work closely with teachers and residential staff on educational and job-related goals, provide caring supervision and structure for youth in residence, and transport youth to and from appointments. In the event of a Youth Care Workers absence, Youth Care Workers substitute to ensure continuity of care.
