Job Description Job Description JOB SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Care Coordinator, a Resident Assistant (RA) is responsible for direct care of teen parents and their children. The RA provides supervision, observes behavior, teaches life, coping and parenting skills, as well as awareness of community resources to enable the teen mother to learn and become a self-sufficient and nurturing parent. The RA must perform her job in a manner that enhances client self-esteem, offers a model of successful behavior and supports learning. The job is performed in a trauma informed residential setting, and therefore requires flexible scheduling in order to meet contract requirements and client needs.
