The Atmospheric Composition group from the Earth Science department at the BSC-CNS searches for one research support engineer willing to work on the development, maintenance, updating and execution of the in-house atmospheric emission models. The position will support the development of the input databases and emission estimation methodologies that configure the models, as well as test executions, post-processing and analysis of the model outputs. The successful applicant will work closely with computational engineers to support the model requirements specification process and workflow development, as well as with providers of emission and activity data to build and produce emission databases suitable for modelling studies.
