Overview Satellite Oceanography at the Applied Physics Laboratory, University of Washington The Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) at the University of Washington (UW) invites applications to a research position for a Scientist using satellite observations to study the ocean and atmosphere-ocean coupling. The successful candidate will be a permanent Professional Staff member at APL ( and will undertake research in the Air-Sea Interaction and Remote Sensing (AIRS) Department at APL ( with opportunities for collaboration in APL's Ocean Physics Department and Polar Science Center and the UW School of Oceanography.
