The position is for a 1-2 year paid fellowship working under the mentorship of Dr. Stephanie Polites in her pediatric surgical oncology research program. The application is open to research candidates, including those currently in training or have recently completed surgical or graduate training. The expectation at the end of the fellowship is that the fellow will be well prepared to become a leader in decentralized clinical trials and Healthcare AI Computer Vision/ML, either in the academic or surgical technology setting.

The ideal candidate must have expertise in fundamental biostatistical methods, evidence synthesis approaches, data structures and algorithms, Python programming language (including Tensorflow/PyTroch), Linux shell scripting, and machine learning (particularly deep learning).
