**Description**
The Department of Ophthalmology/Flaum Eye Institute (FEI) at the University of Rochester, currently 19 th nationwide in the BRIMR, invites applications for an open-rank, tenure-track faculty position from basic scientists or clinician scientists pursuing an independent ophthalmic research program. We welcome candidates who can apply a range of techniques to study ocular structure and function in health and disease. Candidates that deploy advanced approaches focusing on physiological optics (e.g., adaptive optics imaging, optical coherence tomography, scanning laser ophthalmoscopy, two-photon imaging, fluorescence lifetime or other ocular imaging modalities).
