$90,000-175,000 annually

**POSITION SUMMARY** :
The MTW Facility Group Leader is a position that will lead a new group in the Laser and Materials Technology Division at the Laboratory for Laser Energetics responsible for operations of the MTW/MTW-OPAL facility, two existing ultra-intense, short-pulse laser-plasma experimental systems. The multidisciplinary team includes experimental and laser scientists, engineers, and operations staff to plan and execute experiments on the MTW and MTW-OPAL lasers.
The MTW Facility Group Leader will work with facility users and the OPAL Science Team Leader, who leads a science team to plan and execute experiments on MTW-OPAL and other high-power laser facilities.
