Position Overview

A post‑graduate research assistant (PGRA) or post‑doctoral research associate (PDRA) is required in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics to work on verified algorithms for infinite‑dimensional spectra, control, and data science under Dr. Matthew Colbrook. The start date is October 2024, or earlier/later by negotiation.

The project is entitled Verified data‑driven algorithms for control and neural network training and is funded by the Isaac Newton Trust.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust numerical methods for infinite‑dimensional spectral computations and data‑driven control.
