Position Summary/Description:
The UNC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks to recruit an epidemiologist or biostatistician at the Assistant Professor level to support department-wide research efforts. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the development and coordination of activities to support study design, data analysis, results dissemination, and grant preparation. They will report directly to the departmentβs Vice Chair of Research and Innovation.
Responsibilities will include consultative services for faculty and learners; statistical analysis and support for individual research projects; planning and coordination of research training activities for learners (including research curriculum, project development, and presentation); contribution to grant development, including study design, statistical analysis sections and power calculations; research mentorship of res...
