Job Description
The Wetland Carbon Lab at NTU’s Asian School of the Environment (ASE) focuses on understanding the role of aquatic ecosystems, including mangroves peatlands, and streams, as nature based solutions. The lab integrates field-based experiments, high-frequency sensor networks, stable isotope approaches, and modelling to study water, carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus fluxes and greenhouse gas emissions across watersheds.
We are seeking a highly motivated, independent, and adventurous Research Assistant to get involved in watershed-scale biogeochemistry monitoring and research across Singapore’s urban-to-nature stream networks. The position supports NTU’s mission to advance solution-oriented environmental research and contributes to sustainable urban planning, water quality management, climate mitigation and adaptation strategies.
