ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The RiseBoro of Home Delivered Meals (HDML)/Meals-on-Wheels program provides thousands of meals daily to various communities in Brooklyn, NY. Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director and/or Director, the Replacement Driver of HDML is responsible for the daily delivery of meals to homebound clients. Additionally, the Replacement Driver is required to maintain accurate delivery records and assist with assigned program areas as needed. Specific duties and responsibilities include:




+ Perform duties as required by the supervisor of the site

+ Assist with Kitchen Aide Responsibilities

+ Assist with custodial duties at senior centers in case of program emergency

+ Pick up and deliver congregate meals to other program sites if needed

+ When necessary pick up/ drop off interoffice mail

+ Packing of home-delivered meals
