Job Description
An experienced IT Project Manager is needed to lead a comprehensive cybersecurity awareness and application risk assessment effort for a public health agency. This individual will engage closely with business owners, application owners, and infrastructure teams to evaluate the criticality of enterprise applications and systems, including identifying potential operational and public health impacts if systems experience downtime or require maintenance (e.g., patching or remediation). The Project Manager will drive discovery sessions, document dependencies and risk scenarios, and translate findings into a structured, actionable cybersecurity awareness plan. The final deliverable will be a detailed report and roadmap developed within Microsoft Project and/or O365 tools, outlining application prioritization, risk mitigation strategies, and recommended decision-making frameworks for security and operations teams.
