Job Description
An employer is looking for an API SDET to sit remotely. You will be part of the clients ecommerce QA team, focused on testing efforts related to their API environment and helping to mature their end- to- end testing. You will create/ implement automated tests for APIs and utilize the current framework to ensure optimal functionality. You will enhance the automation framework for new/ existing functionality and coordinate testing activities as part of the Agile team. You will identify/ record defects related to the API aspects for the web/ mobile applications and optimize the testing environment as needed for process improvement. Additional tasks will include:
Build and execute API test automation for backend and integration services.
Integrate web, mobile, and API automated tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
