Job Description

Interested in developing your expertise in Infectious Diseases within a highly supportive team and academic environment?

Head Medical is working with the Tasmanian Health Service to recruit an Infectious Diseases Advanced Trainee / Registrar based at Launceston General Hospital, offering excellent clinical exposure alongside strong teaching and research support.

  • Broad exposure across Infectious Diseases, including inpatient consultation and outpatient clinics
  • Structured training programme with protected teaching time
  • Opportunities to engage in research and undergraduate teaching
  • Work in a region with exceptional lifestyle and natural surroundings
  • Salary: AUD $138,978 – $194,675 (commensurate with experience)
  • Relocation support
  • 12 month contract commencing 1st February 2027
