Animal Services Bureau Registered Veterinary Technician

The Animal Services Bureau has an opening for a regular part-time (0.5 FTE) Registered Veterinary Technician at Hitchcock Road Animal Services (HRAS) in Salinas. This part time position with a flexible schedule will assist with spay/neuter surgeries (that may include shelter pets, feral cats, or owned pets), vaccination clinics, and assisting with shelter medical rounds as needed for animals housed within the shelter.

Hitchcock Road Animal Services is a Joint Power Agency between the County of Monterey and City of Salinas. The County of Monterey acts as the lead agency and all employees are hired by the County of Monterey.
