Registered Nurse – Wellington Intensive Service (Porirua site). Casual role.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in neurology, stroke rehabilitation, mental health, for a casual role at ABI Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Work a variety of shifts (day, evening, weekend and awake night shifts) and be rostered Monday to Sunday.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and in partnership with clients and their families/whānau.
• Provide care and support for clients with moderate to severe acquired brain injuries, with emphasis on physical, cognitive and rehabilitation needs.
• Participate in the development and implementation of individual rehabilitation programmes as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years postgraduate experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current New Zealand practicing certificate.
