No one makes it happen like you. As a Special Procedures Unit nurse you're all over patient care before, during, and after the procedure like gravy on rice. You educate your patients about the procedure because you've developed a specialized knowledge about gastrointestinal disorders and an expertise in a variety of diagnostic procedures used to diagnose digestive health issues. With a Monday through Friday schedule, you understand on call is a necessary part of the job and that's okay with you. It's a fast-paced environment where you manage multiple patients during your shift and, should complications arise, you handle them with confidence and compassion like the pro that you are.
