POSITION PURPOSE

• Registered Nurse to support IV Insertions and Phlebotomy.

• This is a Part-Time, benefited position scheduled 24 hours per week on the night 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. shift with holiday and weekend rotation.

• This RN will rotate to a variety of units starting IVs or drawing blood for patients who are determined difficult IV access. 

• Ability to communicate within the inter professional team to determine best IV access will be necessary. 

• Education will be provided on the use of ultrasound and different types of IV catheters prior to starting role.
