**2 East** cares for **high‑acuity surgical patients** who require frequent monitoring, multiple lines/tubes, and complex nursing care.

The 32-bed unit specializes in Core Surgical Services, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery. Additional Surgical Populations include General Surgery, Trauma, and Plastic Surgery.

2 East is a **fast‑paced, dynamic** unit known for High volume and high patient turnover. Nurses will use constant clinical decision-making with diverse patient scenarios (including **medicine overflow** patients when beds permit).
