Job Summary

Responsible for the development and maintenance of the quality of care delivered to stroke patients and their movement throughout the continuum of care. Serves as a clinical expert serving as a role model and resource to patient and family, nursing staff, other clinical staff, physicians and the community. Establishes and fosters collaborative working relationships with physicians involved in the clinical care of stroke patients.Essential Functions

Develops, evaluates and maintains a stroke program that meets and exceeds the recommendations of the American Stroke Association, the Brain Attack Coalition and the JCAHO Disease Specific Standards.
