At Saint Francis Hospital, the level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) consists of 28 beds. Preterm and term neonates in need of additional medical and surgical management and highly specialized care are admitted to the unit

**What you will do** :

+ Attend births and provide care for infants with medical complications directly after birth
+ Monitor the health of infants suffering from medical issues, such as prematurity or congenial defects
+ Educate new parents on the care of their infant, including basic infant care, breastfeeding, and safety
+ Contributes to overall quality of nursing care through performance improvement techniques that impact patient care positively
