Responsibilities

In accordance with established mission, vision, values and strategic priorities of Northern Health, the Registered Nurse (RN) in rural general practice follows the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) within a patient- and family-centered care model.

The RN practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of client care.
