**Description:**

**POSITION PURPOSE**

+ The RN Special Procedures Nurses supports Interventional Radiology – Angiography, assisting a Physician or Physician Assistant, in over 60 different procedures.
+ Part-Time benefited position. Scheduled 40 hours bi-weekly (.5 FTE). Day shift, No Weekends, No Holidays.
+ The unit operates weekdays from 6:30 am-5:30 pm. Shifts are a mix of 8 and 10-hour shifts. Assignments are a 1:1 patient to nurse ratio. Full-time positions (1.0 FTE positions) are scheduled four, ten-hour shifts.
+ NOTE: Call coverage is mandatory.
+ Average call requirement is 3 weeknight shifts per month and weekend coverage once every 7th weekend divided between Neuro intervention and Angiography.
+ The callback requirement for Neuro Intervention is 40 minutes and Angiography is 60 minutes.
