Overview

Renal Unit, Whangarei Hospital – Permanent full‑time position (40 hours per week). The role requires travel to and from other dialysis units across Northland and participation in an on‑call after‑hours roster for acute haemodialysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and therapeutic haemodialysis treatments to Northland patients, including those with ESRF, ARF, and home haemodialysis.
• Maintain and enhance professional nursing standards and participate as an effective member of the wider Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau organisation.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient care across outpatient, community and inpatient settings.
• Travel to other haemodialysis units across Northland as required.
• Participate in the on‑call after‑hours roster for acute haemodialysis.
