Job Description
Position/Specialty: Progressive ICU (PCU)
Years of Experience Req: 1 year(s)
Weekend Requirement: Every Other
RTO, Block & Special Scheduling Requests: ALL requests must be included with the submission. Requests will only be accommodated if approved by the facility at the time of booking.
Call off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes
Locals Accepted? Radius Rule: Yes. Refer to the Submittal Instructions for radius rule criteria.
Pending License Accepted: No. Must have an active SC or multistate license.
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Ratios: 1:3
Patient Population & Unit Details: Adults and geriatrics; 10-bed Progressive ICU caring for step-down patients who often transfer from ICU and may require higher acuity monitoring. Common diagnoses include respiratory failure, sepsis, heart failure, DKA/HHS, alcohol withdrawal, and overdose.
