Job Description
* Dunedin Hospital
* Fixed-term, part-time role until 30 September 2026 (0.6 FTE, 48 hours per fortnight)
* Salary band: $81,000 - $106,000 per annum pro-rata plus KiwiSaver

About the role
We are looking for a Registered Nurse for our Medical Assessment Unit to support the winter boost bed increase for the 2026 winter. Shifts will be on a 24/7 rotating roster and include night shifts.
The Medical Assessment Unit is closely linked to the Emergency Department and other front-line services, so variety is a key element in this busy but rewarding role.
Responsibilities include:
* streamlining the assessment and admission of non-critically ill medical patients
* accommodating and caring for patients for up to 24-36 hours
* tending to patients during what can be a vulnerable and scary expe...
