The Labour and Delivery (L&D) unit at Peter Lougheed Centre aims to attract and retain high‑quality registered nurses who will provide excellence in nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care delivered to women across the perinatal continuum. Our L&D unit is a diverse, dynamic and fast‑paced environment seeing approximately 500 births per month. As the L&D registered nurse, you will utilize your critical‑thinking skills and consistently practice cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity within the interdisciplinary team setting. You will serve as an effective communicator, offering holistic, comprehensive, and family‑centered care and teaching to individuals and families, both independently and collaboratively as a member of the healthcare team.
