Job Description
Be a part of Fraser Health's dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring high-quality care for critical patients.
In this role, you will assess and manage patient needs, demonstrating your expertise in nursing interventions aligned with the BCCNM standards. Collaborate closely with interprofessional teams to create and modify care plans that reflect patient values and choices, ensuring a respectful and culturally safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments accurately
• Collaborate with families for effective care planning
• Initiate referrals to other healthcare agencies when needed
• Attend educational programs to enhance nursing competencies
• Support quality improvement projects within the unit
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with BCCNM credentials and current BCLS
• Strong foundation in nursing assessment and patient care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
