Casual Part-Time (Req # 2025-191) Rotating shift, 16
hours per week. Occasional overtime required, may be required to work beyond
regularly-scheduled hours. Requires being on-call; must be flexible for
scheduling of on-call assignments. Shift/weekend rotating required when
necessary. Requires endurance to work long periods of time without relief.

Description of Position

The Registered Nurse First Assistant is a perioperative registered nurse with advanced training and certification to perform intra-operative procedures in collaboration with and under the direction of a surgeon. The Registered Nurse First Assistant has an expanded nursing practice role and may be delegated certain medical functions in accordance with company policy, national standards and/or regulatory requirements.
