Service Overview

The Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) is a specialist, patient-centred programme providing comprehensive bone health assessment and coordinated management for people who have sustained fragility fractures. The service delivers evidence-based recommendations aimed at reducing future fracture risk and improving long-term outcomes. Endocrinology spans paediatrics to the elderly and encompasses a wide range of medical conditions including growth, puberty, thyroid, adrenal, reproductive endocrine disorders such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), pituitary disorders and osteoporosis.

Role overview

Registered Nurse (0.9FTE, 72 hours per fortnight) straddles both Endocrinology and Fracture Liaison Service at Greenlane Clinical Centre, providing safe, appropriate, and effective contemporary nursing care that is patient/client-centred, culturally sensitive and evidence-based.
