About the role
Our Day Surgery Unit is a one-stop shop, providing surgery to patients of all ages across a wide range of specialties including dental, ENT, general surgery, gynaecology, orthopaedics, plastics, urology, and paediatrics. DSU nurses care for patients across the full continuum of care, from pre-admission through to discharge. The unit also accommodates patients admitted for a variety of non-theatre procedures.
This is a close-knit unit where nurses work collaboratively, so the ability to work effectively as part of a small, high-performing team is essential.
