Job Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Join a high-performing Vascular Surgery team in a dynamic academic medical center environment. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse (RN) with cardiac, vascular, or critical care experience who thrives in a hands-on, patient-centered clinical setting.
The RN will coordinate interdisciplinary care for complex vascular and cardiovascular patients, supporting patients across the continuumβfrom clinic visits through follow-up care. This position blends clinical expertise, care coordination, and direct patient interaction in a highly collaborative environment with surgeons and advanced practice providers.
Key responsibilities include RN triage, patient assessment, care coordination, patient intake, insurance authorization, medical record review, and ongoing patient follow-up. The RN will work directly alongside attending physicians in clinic, assisting with wound care, vascular procedures, patient education, and discharge planning.
