Ward 10, Christchurch Hospital - fixed‑term positions available. Shifts Monday to Sunday, Morning, Afternoon and Nights.

About the Role

The Registered Nurses on Ward 10 are involved in pre‑ and post‑operative care of cardiothoracic patients, acute pain management with chest traumas, and rib fixation surgery. They also care for acute and elective cardiology patients presenting with chest pain requiring cath‑lab procedures, TAVI, electrophysiology procedures, and heart‑failure management.

You will be well supported through our Nurse Educator and Clinical Nurse Specialists due to our wide variety of both medical and surgical skill sets.

Employment Conditions

• Role 1: 1.0FTE (40hrs per week) until 11/03/2027 due to parental leave.
• Role 2: 0.5FTE (20hrs per week) until 24/11/2026 due to secondment.
