Job Description
+ Position Summary
+ Under general direction, protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities. Prevents illness and injury. Alleviates suffering through the diagnosis and treatment. Advocates for patients and their families. Ensures all actions taken in carrying out responsibilities support patient centered care.
+ Responsible for comprehensive goal-oriented care of patients as directed by the physician orders. This includes patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, care planning, implementation, intervention and evaluation of care. Works with an interdisciplinary team to assure support of the patientsโ physical, spiritual and emotional needs, as well as the needs of the families.
